Hauora Waikato Group

Hauora Waikato is a kaupapa Māori organisation which provides secondary level community based mental health services. We are a free service. In the Waikato, our signature whakatauki – “He piko, he taniwha, he piko, he taniwha” - and its translation - “At every bend, is a leader” – represents the correlation between people and resource and the ceaseless, perpetual connection between the Waikato people and our river.
